"ASQ Series" bar feeders for short bar materials

Short bar feeder that maximizes high-speed and high-accuracy machining performance for turning centers

Materials are limited by the spindle length, so rod material does not rotate on the bar feeder side.
This means that bar feeder rotation performance is not limited by the speed of the turning center spindle, for maximum performance. E80 and E120 airless bar feeders are also available.

Features

1. Vibration prevention and soundproofing

Guide bushing matching the material diameter is inserted into the spindle, serving as a steady rest. The feed pipe and material are separated during machining, eliminating vibration and noise from the feed pipe.

2. Easy setup

The only part that needs to be replaced is the feed pipe (even this does not need to be replaced in some situations). Easy operation eliminates the need for extensive setup and replacement. Simply enter data on the monitor, even when changing workpiece length or material dimensions (E80/E120).

3. Safety

Fully covered and electromagnetically locked, to prevent contact with moving parts as well as damaged parts from being ejected during machining issues.

4. Easier maintainability

The bar feeder generates no vibration during machining, helping reduce damage and wear to parts.
This also reduces maintenance times and expenses.

 

Slider

Comes standard equipped with a slider. This component slides the bar feeder (both in the operation direction and opposite direction), ensuring sufficient space to replace the guide bushing in the spindle. The linear guide structure makes sliding easy.
