A large 5-axis control traveling column machining center with an excellent material removal rate up to 1,500 mL/min
DMF Series traveling column machining centers come with an integrated NC swivel rotary table and are capable of 5-axis machining, making them ideal for efficiently machining long workpieces. DMF 400 | 11 features a large machining area (X-axis travel of 4,000 mm, Y-axis travel of 1,100 mm, and Z-axis travel of 1,050 mm), and is equipped with three linear guides in the X-axis for highly rigid machining. The machining area can be split in two using an optional partition wall, allowing the next process to be setup in the second machining area while using the first area for machining.
The symmetrical mechanical structure and traveling column designed using FEM analysis provide for excellent thermal stability and highly precise machining even during long-term operation.
