Application Which Let You Create
Machining Programs Easily on Your PC
The DMG MORI Visual Programming is an application that allows for easy creation of machining programs on a PC. Operators can easily input data by following guidance, which leads to drastic reduction in programming time. As the product is fully compatible with the VPS of MAPPS V on the machine side in terms of functionality, data format and operability, it enables operators to centrally manage the VPS files.
Main Benefits
1. Simple programming
G codes and M codes can be easily input by using the guidance input functions. The required tools and cutting conditions can be determined automatically simply by entering cycles according to the machining shape. What’s more, NC programs that are created by entering cycles can be edited by the unit of a machining process.

2.Safety assurance function for error-free programming
The machining shape and tool path can be easily checked. ・Zooming and rotation are available during simulations and tool trajectories can be displayed.
・Display mode switching (semi-transparent and cross section display, displaying and hiding of tool path).
・Time study output as Excel file.
3.Data compatibility
The created VPS files can be used with MAPPS V without modification. By importing 2D CAD data (DXF data), data for workpieces with complex contours can be input easily.
