Main features
1. Supports turning centers and multi-axis turning centers
It creates machining programs that maximize the performance of turning centers and multi-axis turning centers. ESPRIT EDGE can be used to control even complex machining, including up/down turret bodies, left/right spindles, and simultaneous 5-axis machining. This streamlines machining and reduces cycle times.
2. Machine recognition to optimize machining
Components such as machine tools, machining jigs, and workpiece setups, as well as tool assembly configurations, are reproduced as digital twins on ESPRIT EDGE, allowing for each machining program process to be optimized. This offers a variety of benefits, including extending tool life, reducing cycle times, and integrating processes.
3. Real-time machine simulation
Machining operations are accurately simulated within a virtual machine tool with information identical to that of the actual machine, immediately after creating the toolpath. This allows the system to automatically avoid or detect errors such as tool interference and over-stroke, significantly reducing machining risks. It also significantly reduces rework during machining setup.
