A New Dimension of PCD Laser Machining

The LASERTEC PrecisionTool series is capable of laser machining of various materials including PCD (Polycrystalline Diamond), CVD diamond and CBN. As a new energy-efficient laser source uses no consumable parts such as a grinding wheel for grinding and a wire for wire electric discharge machining, the machine achieves "Green Technology" in manufacturing of diamond tools. The LASERTEC 20 PrecisionTool is a compact 5-axis laser machine with a footprint of only 3.5 m2, and can flexibly meet various automation needs such as automatic workpiece handling.
