"SPANNTOP mini" quick-change power collet chuck
Minimal chuck O. D. for superior tool accessibility
SPANNTOP mini is a power collet chuck with a collet that can easily be replaced by anyone in under 10 seconds using a special jig. The chuck O. D. is two-thirds smaller and lighter than conventional products, for a reduced moment of inertia and less load on the machine spindle. An optional adaptation ring can be attached for use with conventional MANDO I. D. adapters and jaw modules (three-jaw adapters). SPANNTOP mini maximizes the performance of the latest turning centers and multi-axis turning centers to reduce cycle times, helping to reduce the manufacturing cost of each workpiece.

Features
(1) Collet can easily be replaced by anyone in under 10 seconds using a special jig
Use a special changing fixture jig to easily and safely attach and remove the clamping head. Both manual and pneumatic models are available. Select either the one-handed or two-handed holding model depending on the size.
(2) Workpiece stopper can be easily attached to and removed from the front of the chuck
The workpiece stopper can be easily adjusted from the front of the chuck. This can reduce the setup time required for high-mix low-volume production.
(3) Contacting surface clamp provides excellent gripping rigidity
Attached using a special rubber, the clamping head makes surface contact with the workpiece, enhancing clamping force transmission efficiency. This results in excellent gripping force, which can allow cutting conditions to be increased.
