Dry machining that doesn’t use coolant oil brings various advantages such as elimination of workpiece cleaning and waste liquid. On the other hand, no cooling effect by coolant cannot be had under the condition of dry machining, and temperature of machining points is likely to get high. As a result, tool tips are quickly worn, and cutters have to be replaced frequently.
Here we introduce“HTC holder,”the MAPAL’s hydro chuck holder to solve such issues.
