NHX 5500 4^th Generation是採用專為No. 50錐形主軸設計的高剛性結構的臥式加工中心。其結構提供各種功能，適合用於汽車和營建機械產業等領域內的廣泛加工需求。機械驅動電壓從先前機型的200 V增加到400 V，同時主軸的輸出和扭力也有所強化，從而大幅減少重型切削加工件的加工時間。產品線還新增了20,000 min-1規格。
