The NMV 3000 / 5000 DCG 2^nd Generation is a high-performance 5-axis vertical machining center that integrates milling, turning, gear cutting, grinding, and measurement in a single machine.
It is equipped with DMG MORI' s original technologies, such as DCG (Driven at the Center of Gravity), which suppresses vibration and enhances acceleration, and DDM (Direct Drive Motor), which achieves zero backlash and, being manufactured in-house, ensures maximum reliability - enabling stable, continuous machining.

With a 40% improvement in spindle performance, 49% higher Y-axis rigidity, and the latest ERGOline X with CELOS X provided as standard, the NMV 2^nd Generation has evolved into an even more reliable 5-axis machining center.

In addition, the optional Gear Production ⁺ solution integrates milling, turning, gear roughing, and gear grinding into a single process. It supports a wide variety of gears, including internal gears, external gears, splines, and keyways.

Combining the NMV with a pallet changer or the AWC —high-capacity, space-saving automated systems—enables extended operating hours.
