This is the second standard automation system on site from DMG MORI Systems. CEO Peter Hjelm justifies the investment with the high labour costs in Denmark, among other aspects: “If we want to remain competitive, our production must be smarter than others”. Thanks to pallet handling, idle times can be drastically reduced through tool setup while machining is in progress during the day and during unmanned shifts at night. Exacting quality requirements were also a criterion for purchasing our standard automation. “The DMU 60 eVo linear gives us the ability to manufacture smaller precision components in a very flexible way. linear technology ensures the appropriate positioning precision”, says Peter Hjelm. The CEO looks to the future with optimism: “We will continue to invest in innovative CNC technology and associated automation to be able to manufacture in an even more productive way”.
