IFA ROTORION
Flexible production cell for machining drive train components.
The customer-specific workpiece handling cell combines the technology of two MILLTAP 700 compact machining centres and a CTV 160 vertical lathe with robot and measuring technology.
We developed a workpiece specific three-fold gripper for the robot to be able to load and unload both machines with a variety of castings. A measuring station identifies and removes reject parts. To maximise process assurance, measured deviations are fed back directly to the machine control and the cutting values are adjusted.
