LASERTEC 20 PrecisionTool for perfect, break-out-free cutting edges in PCD.

The focus is on particularly complex, customer-specific solutions in which one tool combines multiple processing steps. Machining of these demanding tools has been implemented since mid-year 2015 on a LASERTEC 20 PrecisionTool from DMG MORI. “Laser is the only way for us to achieve the required perfection in production”, says CEO Gerhard Hoffmann. “Whether break-out-free cutting edges, precision angles of between 0° and 35°, or filigree chip breakers – the LASERTEC 20 PrecisionTool enables and combines all machining tasks on a 5-axis precision machine”.
