Buchholz Hydraulik GmbH from Kiel, Germany specialises in the development and production of valve controls for mobile hydraulics. Thanks to a NLX2500 | 700, the manufacturer achieved massive productivity gains.
With a counter spindle, C-axis, Y-axis and driven tools, the turn & milling centre supports complete machining of complex workpieces. “Because we turn and mill both the front and back, we can work considerably more economically than previously with several machining operations on at least two machines”, said machine cutting technician Heiko Neßler. The new DMG MORI design offers good accessibility and CELOS supports the manufacturing process: “We program directly on the machine while the previous part is being produced. The 3D simulation warns us of potential collisions and computes the running times of the components”.
The NLX2500 | 700 is supplied with the state-of-the-art CELOS GUI and a user-friendly 21.5” ERGOline touch display.
