5-Axis Control Vertical Machining Center "NMV 3000 / 5000 2^nd Generation"

The second generation of DMG MORI's 5-axis control vertical machining center NMV series has arrived.
The NMV Series 5-axis control vertical machining center, equipped with DMG MORI’s original technologies: DDM (Direct Drive Motor), which achieves zero backlash and is produced in-house for maximum reliability, DCG (Driven at the Center of Gravity), which controls vibration and improves acceleration, which offers high-speed, high-precision feed.
The NMV 2^nd Generation improves rigidity by 49% from past models. The standard speedMASTER spindle achieves a maximum speed of 20,000 min^-1 (30,000 min^-1 with optional equipment). Furthermore, improved acceleration performance along the X/Y/Z-axis, reduced tool change time, and shorter spindle acceleration time all contribute to cycle time reduction.
Additionally, by incorporating the “Gear Production⁺” solution—which integrated solution for gear machining functions—the NMV 2^nd Generation enables the integration of processes from cutting machining to gear machining and gear measurement within a single machine.
