NMV 5000 DCG 2nd Generation
Three Original Technologies with Outstanding Performance
The NMV 5000 DCG 2nd Generation is a 5-axis, vertical machining center equipped with the DMG MORI original technologies: the DDM (Direct Drive Motor) to achieves zero backlash, the DCG (Driven at the Center of Gravity) to control vibration for higher acceleration, and the ORC (Octagonal Ram Construction) to ensure high-speed, high-precision feed.
Equipped with the high-speed speedMASTER spindle and featuring a standard maximum spindle speed of 20,000 -1, the machine enables high-speed machining. Furthermore, improvements in spindle acceleration and deceleration times, linear axis acceleration, and tool change times compared to previous models result in reduced cycle times.
