Promotion of Quality Health Checkups
DMG MORI offers periodic health checkups with a focus on preventing lifestyle-related diseases and cancer.
DMG MORI has been working on providing quality periodic health checkups as a core policy for employee health management. Since fiscal 2019, we have continued to provide health screening-style periodic health checkups as you see now. In addition to the statutory test items, we recommend testing of the items specified by the company, such as diagnostic imaging and endoscopy, at partner screening institutions during work hours. The company fully covers the costs of statutory testing. Almost all employees use the periodic health checkups, which are contributing to early discovery of cancer.
In our survey in July 2023, a total of 95.7% of employees gave a high rating with 55.0% “satisfied” and 40.7% “somewhat satisfied”.

COVID-19 Precautions
DMG MORI communicates COVID-19 precautions through the corporate website.
Preventive measures required by the Government are implemented within the company in a timely manner through the intranet and / or the Safety and Health Committee. Principles for determining whether an infected or close-contact employee can come to the office or not are explained with illustrations to help employees understand the criteria and to prevent excessive restrictions. DMG MORI has set a rule that all positive test results be reported to the exclusive occupational health physician, and that the physician always checks with the employee on their recovery status in order to determine return to work. Our BCP now has a new entry about infectious diseases.

The laboratory uses SHIMADZU CORPORATION's AutoAmp for real-time RT-PCR using saliva samples. After assigning full-time staff, the laboratory has tested more than 2,400 samples within a year. The laboratory is contributing to raising employee awareness and preventing the spread of infections.
