Sakashita Seisakusho Co. Ltd. is located on the side of Arakawa River with a view of Tokyo Skytree to the west, in a quiet residential district. Founded in the 1950s, the company expanded its business at its current location since 1988. This small factory combines living and working spaces, with the factory located on the first floor, and a living space for a family of six on the second and third floors. Run by Kiichiro Sakashita, the company employs two workers. In the autumn of 2021, Kiichiro's eldest son, Shoichiro, joined the company. He will ultimately take over the family business as the third-generation president of the company. As he entered into the company, he took courses at DMG MORI Digital Academy, an e-learning service.
