DMG MORI Introduces 5‑Year Warranty for Key Components:
turnMASTER, turretMASTER and ERGOline X
DMG MORI Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “DMG MORI”) will introduce a 5‑year warranty for selected key components of its machine tools, starting with machines shipped from April 2026. Since 2018, DMG MORI has offered a 3‑year warranty for its “MASTER” spindles, and by extending the warranty period to five years, customers can look forward to even greater reliability and trouble‑free machining.
DMG MORI has been promoting in‑house production of key components, including spindles and ball screws, to ensure quality and a stable supply. MX (Machining Transformation) drives process integration and automation to boost customer productivity which makes reliable key components more important than ever. Through the in house development and production of these key components, DMG MORI has laid the foundation for continuous improvements and strengthened its differentiation from other competitors, enabling the introduction of a 5 year warranty.
The 5 year warranty covers “turnMASTER” spindles, “turretMASTER” turrets, and “ERGOline X” control panels.
DMG MORI’s turnMASTER spindles combine high rigidity with excellent cutting performance and durability, as featured in the NLX 2500 2nd Generation. The integrated encoder from Magnescale, a DMG MORI group company, improves C axis positioning accuracy for high accuracy machining.
The turretMASTER offers milling capabilities equivalent to machining centers, and its BMT (Built in Motor Turret) minimizes heat and vibration for outstanding machining accuracy.
The ERGOline X control panel combines a wide screen touch panel with hardware buttons into an intuitive interface. Its dust and water resistant housing is designed for factory environments, while its glove‑operable, high‑visibility touch panel and customizable HYBRID BAR button layout streamlines setup work.
Machine tools are long term assets used by customers for 10 to 20 years, and to ensure their reliability and quality, DMG MORI will continue to strengthen its in house production capabilities. It is planned to offer a 5 year warranty for other key components and to extend the machine tool body warranty beyond the current two year period*1.
DMG MORI will continue to address customer needs with highly functional and reliable products that deliver long term value.
