DMG MORI SAILING TEAM is continuing its success story. Following the “Vendée Globe” in 2020-2021, Skipper Kojiro Shiraishi has now finished the solo, non-stop, round-the-world yacht race a second time as the first Asian sailor in 2024-2025. Now, three months after climbing the Everest of the seas, the DMG MORI Global One is coming to marinas in Yokohama, Ashiya, and Shin Nishinomiya to kick off the JAPAN TOUR 2025 from July to October.

Our team in France is working hard to prepare for our first participation in “THE OCEAN RACE” in 2027, while spreading the yachting and sailing culture in Japan and fostering young skippers and engineers. This summer will be the only chance to see the team’s newest 23-meters-long, 30-meters-high racing yacht equipped with a foil (underwater wing) in Japan.

THE JAPAN TOUR 2025 is scheduled to include tours for sponsors, guests, elementary school students, and our supporters of the general public to give you a taste of Skipper Kojiro Shiraishi’s marine voyage.Come aboard and head over to our official website for event details and the application form.
